Department of value Education organized different sessions for Catholic and non-catholic students on Value Education. There was a Holy Mass for the Catholic students whereas moral classes were conducted at various venues by Fr. Dr. Binu Scaria, Adv. Sheeja Sebastian and Ms. Rajisha CK.


The Kerala government has been observing 19 June as Reading Day. The Kerala Education Department also observes a week-long reading week from 19 to 25 June. June 19 is the death anniversary of P.N. Panicker , the founder and promoter of the Kerala Library Association. Department of Malayalam, Don Bosco Arts & Science College Angadikadavu is also organises various programmes during this week. An Inter-Departmental debate Competition was organised on 19-06-2025. The topic for the Debate was the burning current issue in the region-The Man-Animal Conflict. Ms Ameena PK & Fr. Edwin Moncy from Department of Journalism won the first prize.


Debate Club-English organised Interdepartmental debate a competition on 18-06-2025 on the topic " Does the FYUGP's multidisciplinary approach under NEP-2020 genuinely promote critical thinking or dilute academic depth?" under the coordinatorship of Ms. Deepa Divakar. Eight teams from different Departments participated in the competition. Abin Haridas and Ajith Zacaria of MA English II year secured first prize in the competition.


World Environment Day was observed in the college by NSS, NCC, College Union Department of Journalism and Department of Social Work. NSS and NCC cadets presented a flashmob to raise awareness among the students. Social Work Department distributed saplings to the students and the staff. College Union conducted an Eco Quiz on 05-06-2025. Department of Journalism organised a Photography Contest.


New Academic Year began with an all religious prayer service. The Prayer Service was led by Vice Principal Fr. Cinto Jose. Slogans recited from Quran, Ramayana and Holy Bible. College Manager Fr. Dr. Joy Ullattil Introduced the new Management council members anf Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat, College Principal introduced the new staff members to the college. Vice-Principal Mr. Kevinson Kurian, Chairman Abhinand CM and Vice-Chairperson Mareeta Sunny also addressed the students.


A Two-Day Faculty Development Programme was organised by IQAC on 29&30 May 2025 for the faculty on the topic: THE DIGITALISATION OF LEARNING & TEACHING PRACTICES IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTES. The sessions were handled by Dr. M Vinay Associate Professor & Head, Department of Computer Science & Data Science, Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore.


Ahead of the beginning of new academic session, IQAC organised a one-day session by College Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat. During the seminar, the Principal explained the Don Bosco's views about higher education.


Kannur University published the results of VI semester University Examinations. Students from Don Bosco Arts & Science College secured FIRST RANKS in BSc Psychology, BCA & BSW. Don Bosco students secured seven out of first ten ranks in BSW. Congratulations!!!!!


Students from Don Bosco Arts & Science College who is doing ACCA as add- on programme along with BCom Programme, qualified for BSc Business Management with International Finance from Queen Margrat University, Edinburgh, UK


The Silver Jubilee of the College Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat was celebrated on 12 May 2025 at the native parish at 10: 00 am followed by lunch at the residence.


A Banking workshop was conduced for the students of Don Bosco Arts & Science College by the Placement Cell in Association with Medcity International on 7,8 & 9 April 2025 as part of 100 percent placement assistance to the students who is willing to join a job after the Graduation or Post Graduation. The students who attended the interview placed in Federal Bank.


During the ATC Camp held at kadambur HSS, Bravo company which was led by CSM Shyam Raj CR won first prize for the drill competition and second prize was won by charlie company which was led by CQMS Anjali Smitha Raj for the same


IQAC organised a five-day Finishing School Training Programme to the Post-Graduate students of Don Bosco Arts & Science College. Mr. Arun Nair, CMD & Chief Mentor, Parivarthan Corporate Training Academy led the training. The programme included Effective Communication- Verbal and non verbal Communication, Corporate Etiquette, Resume Building, Group Discussion, Mock Interview etc. The programme was from 17-03-2025 to 21-03-2025. College Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat distributed certificates to the candidates after successful completion of Training.
