Regular training partnerships with regional Malayalam news portals, satellite channels, and national news bureaus for student internships.

Film Clubs & Academies

Collaborations with regional film associations for organising film festivals, director interactions, and film appreciation workshops.

Key Collaborations

  • A total of 40 students and 4 faculty members from Mar Ivanios College (Autonomous) visited Don Bosco Arts & Science College as part of the MoU activity. The highlight of the programme was an interactive session led by the renowned Malayalam writer and G. Indugopan. The session focused on Screen Writing and Film Direction, where the resource person shared his professional journey, creative process, and insights into the evolving landscape of cinema. He elaborated on narrative construction, character development, and the practical challenges involved in filmmaking.

  • As part of the academic and cultural exchange facilitated by the MoU signed between Don Bosco Arts & Science College, Angadikadavu and Marian College (Autonomous), Kuttikkanam, students of the Department of Journalism and English from Don Bosco Arts & Science College, Angadikadavu participated in the Seventh Edition of the Kuttikkanam International Film Festival (KIFF) held on 14th and 15th November 2025. The festival was jointly organised by the Department of Communication and Media Studies, Marian College, and Medios Talkies Film Society, in collaboration with the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy and the Federation of Film Societies of India (Kerala). The festival was curated on the theme “SHE,” focusing on women-centric narratives, empowerment, and representation in cinema.
