Department of Psychology is conducting a certificate course in Counselling Psychology for the general public. Around 40 people from different fields are attending the course. The programme was Inaugurated by Mr. Kuriachan Paimbillikunnel, President, Ayyankunnu Gram Panchayath on 11-09-2023.


NSS units 47& 72 along with Nature Club of Don Bosco Arts & Science College conducted a "RAIN WALK" for the members. This programme was conducted to increase the bond between the students and to know the nature.


Blood donation camp was organised at Don Bosco Arts & Science College Angadikadavu by Thalassery General Hospital & NSS units on 23-08-2023. The programme was conducted under the guidance of College Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat NSS Programme officers Fr. Jojo & Mrs. Jainy N George.


Kannur University declared the results of MA Journalism and Mass Communication. Students from Don Bosco Arts & Science College secured first nine ranks with 100% result.


The Department of Social Work, in association with the Local Self Government Department (LSGD), held a workshop titled "Zero Waste Lifestyle" on July 11, 2023. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Kuriyachan Paimballikunnel, the President of Ayyankunnu Panchayat. The Head of the Department of Social Work, Fr. Sojan P. Joseph, presided over the event and delivered the opening address. The workshop featured sessions on waste management, led by Mr. Sunil Kumar, the District Coordinator of Suchitwa Mission, and Mr. Somasekaran E.K., the Coordinator of Harithakarma Mission. These sessions were designed to provide students with practical knowledge and strategies for managing waste effectively. We were pleased to have student representatives from various colleges under Kannur University in attendance. Their participation enriched the discussions and contributed to the overall success of the workshop.


NSS units and Department of Social Work organised different awareness programmes to the students on International Day .against Drug Abuse and trafficking on 26-06-2023. Students took pledge against the use of drugs.

Ms. Anusha Job, II year BCA student is selected in to Kannur University team for participating in NSS state level Debate Competition.


Kannur University declared the results of BSW 2020-23 batch. Students from Don Bosco Arts & Science College Angadikadavu secured all I, II & III ranks in the examination. With 75.53 percentage, College stood first in the University also.

DISA(Don Bosco Initiative for Social Action ) supports JLG in organic vegetable cultivation at Peratta Ulikkal. Fr. Sojan Pananchickal SDB, Head of Social Work Department inaugurated the project. Two acres of land is dedicated to sustainable farming.

WELIVE Project of DISA, Don Bosco College Kannur organized an organic farming awareness seminar for Kudumbasree Women of Peratta. The workshop was attended by nearly 50 women, and after the seminar, planting materials and vegetable seedlings were distributed to the farmers by MLA Adv. Sajeev Joseph who inaugurated the event. Fr. Sojan Panachikkal SDB, Director of DISA, presided over the event. Other attendees included Mr. Biju Venagalapally, a member of Ulikkal Panchayat, Mrs. Indhira Purushothaman, a standing committee member of Ulikkal Panchayt, Mrs. Pushpa Rajeevan ADS, Mr. Shijo Joseph of DREAM Kannur, Mrs. Lissy Syriac of WELIVE Kannur, Anjali Mathew, Anooja Joseph, and Mr. Abhilash K.K FTAK, who gave a class on organic farming.
